Red tape

All right, so now the euphoria of New Job-ness has worn off and I'm just now starting to realize that I have scads of work to do before leaving... on Monday! Just got an application for temporary licensure from the school, which might not have been too bad except for the fact that it requires a copy of my Praxis scores, which are in existence somewhere, just no place where I can easily find them. And I need to get fingerprinted and pay for that. Again. And I need to get in contact with Witt and see if they can fill out a section of this for me, since it needs to be certified and clearly the teacher certification requirements in Ohio are nowhere near as intensive as those in the great state of Minnesota and thus need to be checked over.

Oh yeah, did I mention that I also have to pay over $80 in fees? I'm tempted to tell them, you want me at the school that badly, you help me out with these fees. There has got to be grant money somewhere. I'd also settle for petty cash.

It's a good thing I didn't go with everyone to drop Moose off at school yesterday; gives me about 3 days at home with no one around (i.e., no distractions). However, no people around also means that no one's here to nag me to get stuff done. Quite the dilemma. Hence me sitting here at the moment posting to this blog.

How is everyone today?

Slacker. Posting to your blog instead of being productive and doing things like PACKING and filling out FORMS and BAKING CAKES. Oh wait, that last one was me. And I did bake the cake. I just haven't frosted it yet. And I also made risotto. Mmmm.

Anyway, good luck with everything! You'll get it all done and you'll move and you'll do great! Call me this weekend if you feel like slacking some more ;)
