O loyal blog readers, today you have to WORK for your entertainment. Opinions are desperately needed on this subject:

I decided to celebrate the term being over by going into town and wandering around a bit. I hadn't yet been in the new department store that just opened a few weeks ago, so I wandered into there, just going to have a look around. And I found a travel bag (which I needed) and this coat (which I don't need so much). It was a tough decision: I tried on the two sizes that were on the rack, found the right size in a different color, left, came back, found that my size was on the mannequin, and got someone to take the coat off the mannequin so I could try it on. If I were being my normal, frugal
-to-a-fault self, I wouldn't have bought it, but this coat's pretty awesome. And yet, I'm a poor grad student who does, in fact, already own a coat.

(sorry about the cutting off of the head and the rather sketchy background)
Pros: a red coat is
awesome, it's wool and cashmere, and 90 pounds is pretty good compared to the other coats in the store.
Cons: 90 pounds=$180!, and I do actually own a long, black wool coat (it's at home).
So here are your choices:
- Keep it! Everyone wears black in the winter, and color is needed. Plus, it's not too trendy that I won't be able to wear it. Also, I look good in red. (heh)
- Return it! Why the hell would I need two long, wool coats? That's totally wasteful. Also, 90 pounds is my food budget for almost a month.
I know for a fact that there are at least 4 of you who read this blog (semi-)regularly, so let's hear it.
PS- NaBloPoMo's over, hooray!

Gotta splurge on something you want every once and a while, there b. I vote keep!
I think it's great! Also a vote to keep.
You (presumably) need a coat while in England, and when you come home, you can reply to all of the comments that, yes, you bought it in London.
My guess is that you'll need it before you'd be able to get your coat from home anyway (are you going home for Christmas?), so I'd say to keep it, too. Keep in mind, though, that the advice is coming from someone who financed her last-half-of-the-month European travels by eating lots of Teewurst on toast for dinner. :-/
You can always eat rice and beans for a while. Viva la long red coat!
