I was just searching online for things to see during my stay in DC, and I was checking out a description of the US Capitol:
'CAPITOL HILL. The White House notwithstanding, this domed icon of democracy is the capital city's most significant and, perhaps, most impressive building.'
And the first time I read it, I saw the word 'doomed' instead of 'domed'. What does this mean for the future of my country??
